Sandesh and Renee - Forever Together
A wife's heartfelt anniversary tribute to her husband, reminiscing their journey from young love to building a family together.
Back in Puttur , where the story began,
Where a Philomena's boy met a Victor's fan.
At Mai De Deus for catechism class, Stole glances in the silence,
letting moments pass.
October two thousand and six, at Jeevan jyothi camp we spoke, You
cracked a joke, and something in me woke.
I went to Bangalore, you stayed behind, But fate had a way to
make our paths bind.
Long phone calls in the dead of the night, Too young to know, but
it felt so right.
You moved cities just to be where I am, From a crush to a life,
that was the plan.
Happy Anniversary, my love Munna, Eight years strong, oh these
days.
From classroom se ghar tak, look how far we’ ve grown, With you, my
darling, everywhere is home.
December 31 st, 2017, Back at the
same altar, living the dream.
But life has a sense of humor, we know it’ s true, First
anniversary, ACL tear, poor you!
You promise vacations, " Pack your bags," you say, But we never
leave the house, we just stay!
Then came twenty-twenty, world shut down tight,
You were my fish-fry-chef, my guiding light.
And now with Keith, seeing you be the super-dad.
You’ re the father I wish, I too had.
Caring and nurturing, Munna, you’ ve done it all, Picking us up
whenever we fall.
Happy Anniversary, my love Munna
Eight years strong, oh these days.
From classroom se ghar tak, look how far we’ ve grown, With you, my
darling, everywhere is home.
We learned each other in seasons new, Building the dreams that we
once drew.
Growing old together, hand in hand, The best man for Renee in all
the land
Happy Anniversary
